Some schools require students to finish a reading list during school breaks. Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of this requirement.
I think it’s a great idea for students to finish a reading list during school breaks. If students don’t have such reading lists to go through, they might waste their time on meaningless activities like playing computer games or watching TV shows. However, there are certain disadvantages to this policy too. Many students like to travel, work or do volunteer works during school breaks. For those students, they won’t be able to do above activities if they have to sit in their room reading all day while they can learn and accomplish so much more doing the thing they are truly passionate for.

But our body can get pretty stiff during winter due to the low temperature.

But the female student doesn’t agree. She thinks that their dormitory has already had a shared refrigerator, and it is seldom used, so students can reserve their things anytime. Besides, the school dorm is too small to put a refrigerator in it even a small refrigerator. Some students never need a refrigerator.
The lecture talk about resending effect, that is people prone to choose energy-efficient appliance, however, they will exhaust more energy because they spend the money saved from the energy-efficient appliance to buy more appliances. The professor gives an example. A family has an old refrigerator which is electricity-waste; therefore, they buy a new one which is electricity-efficient, and save a lot of money. They buy other appliances such as air-conditioner. Finally they still have to pay the same amount of money as before. The conclusion is their overall cost raised.
