大家来精听-Solar-Powered Car(最终版)+John Mayer's My Stupid Mouth(Special Bonus)

刚完成了一篇新闻精听~关于的是一个十分热门的话题，“Solar-powered Taxi”.

由于该篇对考试中的两大Topic都有涉及（alternative energy&environment conservation）所以就躲在自己的小屋子里完成了它，虽然才短短的1：28秒~可是还是相当的bumpy~ 特别是当中一个swiss的monologue稍微有点挑战

大家可以have a go~也许你会比我做的更好！

Script: 

the solar taxi cruised in/into Pasa Dina/Pasadena(加州的一个名城！) without much fanfare （喇叭轰鸣，炫耀的showy的感觉，在此说明这种汽车的低调）

two batteries power Louis Palmer's two-seat three-wheel solar taxi.

It holds a bothside/hauls （同义词有drag, draw, pull）a boat-sized  trailer covered with solar panels（挡板） that charge the  batteries. 

The 36-year-old Swiss inventor's been driving the solar energy taxi around world for more than a year, telling government leaders, college students, and automakers that there is an alternative to oil. 

"Why should people change sth? they're so much used to petrol, I think there're many, many problems, there's no guidelines （这个词高频！！！显然比advice,suggestion 高级的多） from the governments, petrol used to be very cheap and global warming was not very visible so people didn't care about/alot, but I think times are now changing Big Time". 

The Palmer's solution isn't perfect, each solar taxi battery goes for 15,000 dollars. and holling/hauling a trailer with solar panels is hardly convenient.

Henry Otaward/Harry Atwater's a solar researcher at [/color][color=#ff0000]car taxi/Caltech's(加州理工大学) applied physics department（应用物理系）.

we're developing new types of solar sales/cells（电池的另一种表达！想想还有Cell phone是什么呢？）, doing fudamental research on new sales/cells that we will have a higher efficiency than the sales/cells that are in operation today. And other designs that are designed to be much, much lower cost, so that we can bring the world into an era of solar-electric power generation that's very widespread
