此句显然不能翻译为：小李是一个女孩子生的男孩。显而易见，这是错误的。

a…of… a是个固定词组，其涵义为：“像……一般的……”。

例如：

a beast of a temper

像野兽般的脾气

a mountain of a wave

像高山般的巨浪

a gem of a sculpture

像宝石般美丽的雕刻品
