此句不能翻译成：他们将在一个月内结婚。如果要表达此意，应该翻成：
They will get married within a month.
介词短语in ten days (months, years) 既可以作“十日（月、年）内”解，也可作“十日（月、年）后”解，主要是视句中动词的“体貌”(aspect)而定。如果动词是“非持续性动词 (nondurative verb)”，如: marry, close, open等表示瞬间行为的动词，in… 作“……之后”解，它表示after the course of的涵义；如果动词是“持续性动词(durative verb)”，如: learn, sleep, live, work等表示持续性行为的动词，in作“……之内”解，它表示in a time no longer than的涵义。试比较下面两个句子：
They will graduate from Hong Kong University in two years.
他们将在两年后从香港大学毕业。
They will learn the English language in two years.
他们将在两年内学好英语。
I’ll leave for Shanghai in six months.
半年之后我要到上海去。
In a day or two we’ll visit the Space Theatre.
再过一两天，我们要去天象厅。
I’ll come to see you again in three days.
三天后我再来看你。
in ten days 和 after ten days的区别也要注意，因为这两个短语都表示“在十天后”的涵义，但是用场合并不一样。前者用于将来时，以现在某一特定的时间为起点；后者用于过去时，是从现在看过去，表示已发生的动作的时间。例：
They will be back in ten days.
They came back after ten days.
如果是以过去时间为起点看将来，依旧要用in，不用after。例如New Concept English第二册第十八课He Often Does This中就有这么一句：
The inn-keeper smiled and immediately went out.
In a few minutes he returned with my bag and gave it to me.
顺便在此指出，关于题例中“结婚”一词，也需要注意其表达方法。请看下面关于”marry”的例句：
玛丽和约翰结婚了。
Mary (was) married with John. （错误）
Mary married John. （正确）
Mary was married to John. （正确）
Mary and John were (or got) married. （正确）
你结婚了吗？
Do you marry? （错误）
Have you married? （习惯上不这么说）
Have you been married? （习惯上不这么说）
Are you married?（正确）
通过上例可见，marry和get married是指事件(event)，to be married是指状态(state)。因此，英美人是不说：Mary hasn’t got married. 而是说：Mary is not married.
下面一段中，各句都是正确的英文表达：
Alice didn’t want to work, so she married a millionaire.
Betty didn’t want to get married; she wanted a career.
Betty is not married. Alice is married to a millionaire.
Alice married (or got married) in January last year. Her marriage is not successful.
She did not enjoy her married life.
John and Mary were married in February last week.
所以此句的翻译为：他们将在一个月后结婚。
