Read the following passages:

China achieved its aim set before the Rio Paralympics to finish at the top of the medal standings, just as they did at the previous three Games in Athens, Beijing and London.

Despite China having its largest Paralympic delegation ever, with 308 athletes, state media has been muted on their achievements, and Weibo - China’s most popular social media platform - is buzzing with comment about the lack of coverage.

Questions for reference:

2. On the Rio Paralympics, which do you focus on？The performance itself or the athletes？

3. What do you think the media could do to help the physically challenged people？

Tips

1. The spirit of the Olympic is higher, swifter, stronger. The athletes work harder and meet more challenges.

2. There are more than 80 million physically challenged people in China, and there is a lot we can do for them，not only the athletes.

3. The media in China cannot just focus on those popular or successful athletes in Rio Olympics. The Rio Paralympics need more attention.

The country has just taken part in a giant democratic exercise – perhaps the biggest in our history. Over 33 million people have all had their say.
