7.Borrow 和 Lend的区别：

Borrow意为借进；而Lend意为借进，都是相对于句子的主语而言的，例如：

I have never borrowed it for him. 我从未向他借过这样东西（对于句子的主语“I”来说，是“借进”一样东西）

Please lend me a ruler. 请借我一把尺（这里是祈使句，省略了主语，这里也就是说话者要借尺的对象，对于借尺的对象来说他/她是“借出”者，所以用lend）

8.Destroy和Spoil的区别：

同是损坏，破坏的区别，destroy指的是破坏看得见的物体，比如房屋(destroy the house)、车辆等等；而spoil多用在看不见的东西，比较抽象的，比如倒了胃口（spoil one's appetite），破坏了这个愉快的夜晚（spoil the night）等等。
