当然，这里的storm指的是“暴风”，Webster的解释是：

an occurrence of bad weather in which there is a lot of rain, snow, etc., and often strong winds，所以

我们相应的会有snowstorm, thunderstorm等合成词汇。

那么Storm有没有其他用法呢？

3.1昆明暴力事件之后，各大媒体都在第一时间发布了报道，共同谴责恐怖主义行为，其中，TIMES周刊的报道

中有这么一句：

Knife-wielding attackers, dressed in black clothes, stormed the railway station of provincial capital 

Kunming shortly after 9 p.m. on March 1, slaughtering those who could not flee fast enough.

这里的storm做了动词，那么什么意思呢？

我们说，学习单词最好的方法，是放在语境中。来看这句话中，这一群挥舞着刀的暴徒(knife-wielding attackers)，

身着黑色服装，进了火车站，那么，到底怎么样地进入呢？Storm! 且把它的名词意义拿过来用吧，“像暴风雨一样

进入”。

来看看Webster上面的解释吧：

“to attack (something) suddenly with a lot of force or with a large number of people”

在这里，storm就非常贴切地形容出暴徒来势汹汹，残忍无道。

就让我们记住这个词，也记住暴徒的残暴行为。
