昂立外语【新概念培训】分享词汇是feature，大家都知道 feature意为“特色，特征”， 或在报纸上表示“特别报道”， 那看看下面这段新闻节选：

          Sony Pictures has contacted some US news outlets in an attempt to limit the damage caused by the hacking of its internal computer system last month. It is believed that the attack was triggered by Sony’s new film The Interview, a comedy that features a plot to assassinate North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un.

我们发现， 以上提到的feature的释义， 放在此文章里都不合适， 那这里的feature到底是何意？ Feature在此作动词：If something features in something such as a show, exhibition, or magazine, they are an important part of it. 即：是 (展览、杂志等) 的重要内容， 也就是The Interview（电影《刺杀金正恩》）的主要情节是什么。 再如： The exhibition features paintings by contemporary artists. 同样， feature还可表示担任主演： She featured in Cameron’s new film.

在新3 的完美讲义中曾有这样的翻译练习：我被她五官的清秀吸引了。-- I was attracted by the delicacy of her features（NCE3- L23）. Feature 又成为 “面部的一部分” （如鼻﹑ 口﹑ 眼）的意思：one of the named parts of the face  (e.g. nose, mouth, eyes) which together form. its appearance。复数形式features 即是“容貌”的。 还是那句唠叨的话， 词意要看上下文~
