       Show作为我们平时的极其常用词之一，在我们的新三课本当中当然也是频频露面。

         作为动词，show基本用法之一即为show sb. around; show sth. to sb.，即出示，展示。

         这里当然是show作为动词的又一基本意思啦，意为标明。

1.       Show off

Rose was showing off her engagement ring. 露丝那时正在炫耀她的订婚戒指。

2.       Show sb. the door

应该能联想到中文的一个短语吧？——下逐客令。对，所以这个短语很是形象对吗？

4.       Make a show of oneself这当中的show也可以换成exhibition或者scene.
