昂立外语【新概念培训】分享brilliant这个词，这个词选自新二Lesson 67 Volcanoes原文是这样的：

“Though he managed to take a number of brilliant photographs, he could not stay near the volcano for very long.” 

在这里，brilliant是形容词，意为“精彩的“，这句话的意思就是：尽管他设法拍了一些十分精彩的照片，但他却不能在火山附近停留太长的时间。

我们来具体看一下brilliant吧。它有 “明亮的；灿烂的；闪耀的；才华横溢的；杰出的；精彩的，绝妙的”等意思如：

  I think you are a brilliant singer. 

  你是个出色的歌手。

  He had a brilliant mind.

  他头脑聪明。

 The brilliant performance are still fresh in people's memory.

那次精彩的演出人们记忆犹新。

 He predicted a brilliant future for the child.

 他预言那孩子前途辉煌。

 The garden was bathed in brilliant sunshine.

 花园沐浴在灿烂的阳光之中。

这个词在《拯救大兵瑞恩》(Saving Private Ryan)也出现过的~
