（1）举起、提升，与raise意义相同

提升或被提升到更高的位置或水平

◆ (figurative) John lifted his eyes (= looked up) from his book.

（2）抓住某人或某物并移动到不同的位置
move sb / sth

◆ I lifted the baby out of the chair.
◆ He lifted the suitcase down from the rack.

The survivors were lifted to safety by helicopter.
