To tell the truth, it was never in my dream to graduate from an American high school. Three years ago I was working in different restaurants in Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania, and I only wished one day to learn how to speak English. But now I am here giving a speech in English. What’s more, I am going to college in the fall. However, I will never forget where I have come from.

依我看，这种做法弊大于利。

Actually, I majored in history at college, but the school was short of English teachers, so the headmaster asked me to teach English. I have been doing relevant research work after I wquit teaching.

I red a newspaper report the other day that that more than three fifths of Chinese school children rely on extra tuition to enhance their grades. This phenomenon is also widespread in other Asian countries.

So far I can see, this practice can do more harm than good.
