Today let’s say something about the origins of a few popular words in America.

    The word “OK” first appeared in the newspapers in Boston in 1839. The next year, 1840, was a presidential election year. Some supporters of a candidate formed an OK club in New York City. Although OK, the politician, lost the election, “OK”， the expression, has been strengthened and is widely used ever since.
