There is no doubt that one of the serious problems facing the world as a whole is that of drug abuse among teenagers. We must come up with some effective solutions to this problem.

To tackle the problem, many good measures have been suggested. Some people think that we should punish heavily those who are found to be buying or selling drugs. Others suggest improving existing anti-drug publicity. Still others argue that the best way is to provide better education in schools and for parents. One effective approach, according to some experts, is to make dealing and trading in drugs such a serious crime that people are no longer willing to take the risks involved with being a drug dealer. Laws that deal with offenders must be enforced. Even the death penalty should be considered for those who supply drugs to teenagers. The personal possessions of people who deal should be seized. If we get tough on dealers, we will make it clear to all the people that it does not pay to be involved in drug dealing.
