1. Describe the situation that the world is in danger due to being polluted (for example: air and water are polluted; forests are cut; many rare animals and plants die out; the world is getting warmer, etc.)

2. Suggest what we can do for the world as an individual (for example: take our own chopsticks instead of disposable chopsticks; walk or take a bus rather than take a taxi or a car; save water resources; use environment-friendly bags instead of plastic bags provided by supermarkets, etc) 

3. Call upon more people, especially persuade more people around us to do what they can to care for our planet and help the environment.

  Nowadays, it is not surprising that we’ve got so much shocking news, whether on TV, newspapers or magazines. Our world does face a lot of dangers, especially the pollution. Sewage and exhaust have been discharged; many forests are being cut down, and many rare species die out.

  As an individual of the society, is there anything we can do to help save the world? Of course yes. We can make our contributions to the environment, starting from what we can do in our daily life. For example, when going to the supermarket, we can take environment-friendly bags instead of plastic bags provided by the supermarket, which can decrease “white pollution” to a great degree. Besides, we can take chopsticks rather than use disposable chopsticks when eating out. By doing this, we are able to save many forests and species which live in the forests. In addition to this, there is also much else we can do, for instance, we can walk as much as possible rather than take a taxi or a car. On one hand, we can do some exercises. On the other hand, Iwecan protect the air by cutting down emission of car exhausts. And also we can try our best to save water, use less air-conditioner, fridge, to stop the world from becoming warmer.

  Even though what only an individual can do is little for the whole world, but I deeply believe the saying that many people make light work. I will call upon my classmates, my parents and relatives, to take care of those little things in life and make their contributions to the world. As far as I am concerned, as long as everyone can start small, we can achieve a lot to help the environment. In the near future, we will see a more beautiful world. So now, move out!
