【基础口译听力部分整体评析】

今年基口听力下午的考试难度整体不大，Spot Dictation难度不大，文章无明显生僻词，整体容易理解，Statements和Short Conversations难度不大，Listening Translation难度都属中等。

Spot Dictation：

  本次考试Spot dictation原文来自VOA Special English Technology Report，关于青少年帮助老年人学习高科技产品的报道。在预读的过程中，先通读全文，大致了解文章走向并做好圈划。同学们应该都发现了，这篇文章算是比较通俗易懂一类的。接着，听时要注意思想集中，第一遍就要把大部分空格给稳稳地拿下。最后在检查的过程中要仔细，空格中的语法错误都是需要我们注意检查的。如果能一开始就在这篇Spot Dictation上多拿分，那就意味着离及格迈进了一大步啊。

  VOA Special English题材较广，同学们平时的听的过程中上要注意两点：第一，一定不能只盯着同一个题材听，接触面要广，除了往年考过的农业类与科技类等题材，其他话题也要听。比如经济类与教育类的文章也非常具有代表性，很多单词上课都已经提到过了，多熟悉熟悉总是好的。第二，做好摘抄。很多同学除了词汇量不够外，基本语法句型也是一大“软肋”，建议边听边看边记录，熟悉英语表达方式。

Statements :

整体难度不大，昂立课堂做过的题目随处可见，强化班上总结的题目类型熟悉的同学应该能快速反应出来，对于按照老师要求做好教程，复习讲义的同学一定手到擒来啦。

Short Conversations :

  说到短对话，基本题目都是有据可寻的。如第11题出自强化班讲义，short conversation第三考察类型。第13题出自强化班讲义真题演练第16题。第16题出自强化班讲义，short conversation第三考察类型。第17题都是和第20题根据听力教程上的题目做的略微改编。基础口译考试，说难，真的有难度；说简单，真的有方法。请扪心自问，教程真的有好好做吗？

Sentence Translation :

  其实，除了第5句稍有难度外，剩下的题目同学们都应拿下。第一句关于教育，expert/children/数字/magazine/newspaper，基本上整句话就可以连起来了。第二句，昂立听力教程Lecture 5重点讲解社会问题。第3句，关键词paper（纸），然后依次根据出现的形容词进行组句。第4句，毫无难点。

Passage Translation :

本次段落听译的难度中等，大多都来自于基础口译听力教程中，单词难读不大，也没有很多数字要记。认真按照要求进行复习的同学一定会找到熟悉感，紧张感就会大大降低了，发挥好没话说。祝大家好运，顺利通过考试！

PART A Spot Dictation

  When most people imagine a classroom, they think of older people teaching younger ones.

But when it comes to learning about high-technology devices, the opposite can often be true.

 That is what is happening through a program in the eastern American city of Columbia,

Maryland. The 50 Plus Center offers free technology classes for adults ages 50 and older.

The teachers are often teenagers and even younger children.

  Myra Stafford is 73 years old. She signed up for the workshop to learn how to use her

iPad.

  Ms. Stafford says she is learning quickly about the device. She adds that she enjoys

learning from younger people.

  Eleven-year-old Zhion Perkins teaches Ms. Stafford. He says that patience is very

important when working with older adults.

  "You have to be really, really patient, you know, because some of them might not know as

well as others, so you have to be really patient."

  Meridy McCague is the director of the 50 Plus Center. She says the center offers many

other kinds of workshops for older residents of Columbia. The activities include playing

cards and physical exercise classes.

  Ms. McCague added the senior technology workshop last year. She acted after the center

received several iPads from a local community organization. Since then, about 100 senior

citizens have signed up for the workshop. Ms. McCague says the classes are necessary for

seniors to connect with the world around them.

  Kerry Hannon is a career and retirement expert. She says teaching senior citizens about

technology can prove helpful for the economy.

  "You have a huge growing population over 60 that's just expanding, and offers an

incredible opportunity to buy online, to research products that they want to buy, maybe not

online, but they research them online. About a third of the Internet users in general are

over 50. As seniors get more excited about using the technology, they're going into the

market place and buying it. So that's a boom for economy right there."

  Madison Lam is a 17-year-old teacher for the technology workshop. She says she also learns

a lot from helping seniors.

  “I'm usually a shy person now I think I've learned to be more outgoing."

  Safire Windley is head of the Youth and Teen Center that operates the program. She says

young people like Madison gain more than just social skills from teaching older residents.

  "I find in this day and age, our younger people, they're trying to explore and find out

how they do they add value to life, just trying to find their way. This is something where

they're needed and their skill set is valued and it gives them purpose."

【解析】来自强化班讲义statements考察类型(7)used to do/be used to的用法第2题。 be used to表示“习惯于”，近义词组为be accustomed to.

【解析】copy复制，复印

【解析】need watering主动表被动，需要被浇水

【解析】来自强化班讲义statements考察类型(10)否定疑问句第2题。stop for表示因某事停不下来，或是停下来去做别的事情，有时间停下来去喝杯咖啡，说明有足够的时间。

【解析】contact联系，have no way of doing没有办法做某事

【解析】special effects特效是口语口译讲义Lecture7的重点词组，plot情节。虽然这部电影的特效令人惊艳，但是情节离奇得让人难以相信。

【解析】stand在这里不是站立的意思，而是[n.]路边小摊。passer-by路人，复数形式是passers-by，类似的还有围观者looker-on等。

I. Sentence Translation

1. Experts say children need to read at least three and a half hours a week reading books,

 magazines or newspapers.

【解析】“专家”expert在练习中经常出现，类似的表达有scientist“科学家”和“研究人员”researcher。本句没有生词。

2. Cities in America also contain the very worst part of the society, violent crime, racial

conflicts and poverty.

II. Passage Translation

1. Swimming is an important skill for any child to learn. There are wide varieties of benefits that come from the

requiring ability to swim. Safety, confidence, friends, completion and the ability to be exposed to new experiences

are all solid reasons to have your child to learn how to swim. Swimming can enable him feel good about his

accomplishments

2. The lure of well-founded in US universities with more broad-based course option is proving increasing
