Do our tastes in food really reflect who we are? Scientists are looking a link between a love of sweet things and the tendency to be kind or agreeable. And it turns out that kids with a sweet tooth tend to see themselves as sweet and those that like candy are more likely to volunteer around campus.

第一句没什么难处，reflect 反映，tendency 倾向，重点词汇；agreeable 亲切友善的，注意这里不是“能够同意的”意思；it turns out that 固定句式，结果是／证明是；sweet tooth 喜好甜食，而不是“甜的牙齿”，更不是“蛀牙”，翻译完带到原文里，要能说得通；tend to do 倾向于…；这些都是平时上课强调过的知识点，而且本身这段话也没有很难很复杂的结构，所以应该多拿分。

Before going to the interview, write a resume of your education and your job experience. Organizing information about your qualifications in a resume will help you fill out the application form and answer the interview questions more easily.

［译文］听力个教程P187；

去面试前先写一份有教育背景和工作经历的简历。在简历里好好组织一下自己的各种资格会有助于你填写求职申请，也会让你面试回答问题时更容易些。

［解析］

首先主题词resume 简历要能认得，第一句话很简单，完全没有生词或者长难句；第二句话，动名词做主语比较长，但是很好理解，fill out 填写，application form 基本核心词组，and 连接着两个动词fill out 和answer，也没有很难，虽然句子长了点，但是结构层次很明显，不应该丢很多分。

3.［听力原文］教程P114, 原文在教程P283］

The appearance of a sportsman holding a torch now marks the beginning of every Olympic Games. This special ceremony, in which a lighted torch is carried by sportsmen form Mt. Olympus in Greece, is still an important feature of every modern Olympics. This ceremony, linking the different places where the modern Games are held every four years with the site of the ancient Olympics, was started in Berlin in 1936.

手持火炬的运动员的出现标志着每一次奥运会的开始。这个特殊的仪式能够追溯到古希腊。在这个特殊的仪式里，运动员会在希腊的奥林匹斯山上出发，手举一把被点燃的火炬，这仍然是现代奥林匹克运动会一个重要的特征。这场盛会，将每届现代奥运会举办地与古代奥运会举办地连接在一起，于1936年首次在柏林举办。 

［解析］

这个题目和上午场次的听力段落翻译出自同一篇文章，也有一些重合的部分，但不完全一样。appearance，是appear的名词形式，“出现”，注意这里不能翻译为“外表”，在翻译完这个词后，要带进原文来检查一下句意通顺与否；torch 火把，火炬；mark 标志； every four years 每隔四年；site 场地；第二句比较难，但是结构很清楚，句子主干是this special ceremony is still an…在碰到这种长难句时，先找到主谓宾部分，然后再将从句放入其中；第三句的理解方法完全一致，现在分词linking连接了“现代和古代奥运会举办的场地”，找到linking…and…是理解句子的关键；另外，Berlin 柏林（德国首都，常见的地名需要掌握）。
