独立写作的话题可以分为people、entertainment、work & success、education、society和government这几大类。

2013年的高频考题为society类：

在2013全年的49篇题目中，社会类占到了15篇，而一直作为热门考题的教育类话题占到了12篇。

于此相比，2014年的考题，高频话题为people类：【上海托福培训】

在上一年作为高频出现的society话题今年位于第二位置，和去年相比，话题的分布还是比较类似的，所以考生的复习重点依然应该放在society和people类话题上。【上海托福培训】

从考题来源上看，可以分成这么几类。

1完全重复2013北美考题的类型

可 以说之前一年的北美考题对应考的同学来说是最具有价值的复习材料，在2014年里，对2013北美的机经的复现有8篇，占总数的1/6，考试时间分布均 匀。从这个数据当中我们可以推测出，如果想要进行全面复习的同学，将之前一年的所有北美机经全部扫过一遍是必须的，时间紧迫的同学也应该把每篇题目的 outline给构思一下，确保实考时“有米下锅”。【上海托福培训】

2014年当年的大陆题重复居然有4次，且集中于下半年，因次对于这个规律是否会在2015年再次出现目前还不能下定论，但是下半年考试的同学可以对此稍加注意。

2013年的大陆考题重复率也不高，仅3次，且也是集中于下半年。

2014 考试中另一大规律在于对2012大陆机经的重复，高达10题，占总数20%左右，同时观察考试时间，和2013年的北美机经重复出现的规律相似，在考试时 间里的分布均匀，因此可以断定之前两年的大陆机经是考试范围。如此高的再现率同学们一定要引起重视，也就是说对于2015年的考生来说，2013年的大陆 机经是同学们的复习重点之一。

此 外，2014年全年的托福机经几乎全是老题的重现，仅8月30日出现过新题，对于这些变化我们可以得出一个结论，机经的确可以帮助同学们更好的复习。可以说， 在老题频繁出现的情况下，同学们的确是可以利用好机经，在考试时遇到做过的题目的。但我们也能发现，老题的范围并不仅限于这几个年份。

2014 年全年考试出现到最老的题目在3月23日：After high school, graduates should take at least one year off to work or travel

 before entering university. 重复的是大陆2008年11月1日的题。这类老题的出现给同学们的复习带来了挑战。同学们如果在考前试图靠一两套小范围机经命中考题，几率其实并不高。因 此，同学们全面的复习依然是备考良方。【上海托福培训】
