As we all know, learning a language is not only about learning its grammar or vocabulary, but the

culture as well.① It is not until I went to America as an exchange student that I fully realized it.

②Living with a local family, I was amazed to find most Americans had bigger families than we did:

How much I wished that I could have a pony! What’s more, I used to take it as a common phenomenon that
