However, there is a heated discussion on whether students are learning enough in school. Some believe that lessons in school have already occupied most time of studying while others argue that learning is a lifelong issue and school is far from enough. Personally, I am for the latter. On one hand, learning is not merely about taking lessons and exams in school. It could take place everywhere. For instance, one can know much about a city’s history through travelling, explore the essence of four major masterpieces in books and admire the boundless and great universe from the impeccable pictures and videos through media. On the other hand, learning cannot be measured by time. School is a threshold for students to learn in the future. It is a place where students are taught how to approach to knowledge, not how to get as much know-how as possible. Considering the span of study in school and the immensity of knowledge, we are incapable of learning it all in school, aren’t we? To put all into a nutshell, learning, a process which lasts immortally not only in length but also in width, will never be enough. We shouldn’t define learning to be a status occurring only in school. Instead, we should always bear in mind that live and learn, as the old saying goes. 内容分析: 作文题目比较简单明了,题目要求也是给考生足够空间去发挥。作文题目能写的内容相当多, 不论是支持还是反对,都有很多点可以涉及。注意一下题目要求要出现观点和理由,所以尽量采取结构清晰的分段式写法,这样观点和理由一目了然也便于展开。 精彩亮点分析: 亮点一:用强调句“It is universally acknowledged that”开头,吸引注意力; 亮点二:there is a heated discussion on 对……话题激烈讨论; 亮点三:Some……while others…… 方便引出不同观点; 亮点四:Personally, I am for the latter. 过渡句,引出下文。the former…the latter…前者…后者; 亮点五:on one hand…on the other… 一方面,另一方面,清晰地陈述观点; 亮点六:for instance 举例说明,引出认为学习不只是发生在学校的理由; 亮点七:a threshold for……的门槛,词组灵活运用; 亮点八:It is a place where…… 定语从句指出学校不是拼命给学生塞知识而是教会学生们如何学校的地方; 亮点九:非谓语结构,注意逻辑主语要与动作一致; 亮点十:引用古语“活到老,学到老”做为最后一句话,升华主旨。 写作小贴士: 考生平时可多多积累一些谚语或者名人名言,用在首段或则尾段,吸引读者兴趣,也易于升华主旨。
