This picture is a reflection of modern lifestyle in which a person’s time is fully occupied by watching his cellphone. It seems to him that study, work and life can’t carry on without a mobile phone at hand. In fact, this is a common phenomenon in our society. The man in the picture is actually suffering a widely-spread social disease called Cellphone Use Addiction.

  As is known to all, smart phone has revolutionized our life in every aspect, varying from approaches to learning, ways of shopping to communication styles. It has penetrated so deeply into our life that we can’t live a modern life without cellphone access. While cellphone in deed brings a lot of convenience to our life, many people are going to the other extreme—their time and energy are overly used in reading their phones. For one thing, cellphone use addiction has serious impact on the health of human body, especially to the eyes and spine, or worse still lead to dangerous accidental event. For another, the efficiency of study and work may be reduced if high technology is not used properly. Students can’t concentrate on their study if they are attracted to a cellphone, similarly, for office worker, mistakes can be made at work. Last but not least, it damages personal relationship, for family’s quality time is now replaced by reading his or her phone. How can they enhance family relationship?

Instead of being influenced negatively, we do need to take a wise attitude towards it. The wise attitude towards cellphone use is to have limits to the time of cellphone use and don’t forget to enjoy the quality time with your family and friends.
