Learning the news from the Free Lunch website that the Free Lunch has commented to recruit volunteers, I would like to forward a formal application to become one member of the propaganda department. Being an extroverted and optimistic person, I am now a high school student right now. Two years’ work experience as the minister of the propaganda department in the student union have qualify me to be a good helper to others. China's popular messaging app, WeChat, is slowly turning itself into a platform for providing information, though which I will update all the detail information about the Free Lunch activities.

 All in all, I am very confident to be a competent volunteer, a job both challenging and rewarding. I would be highly appreciated in case that you can consider my application favorably and forward me with the details for the application at your earliest convenience. Looking forward to your reply.

Dear Student Union,

I have just read the ad on the school bulletin and the moment I saw it，I took an interest in becoming one of the volunteers in Propaganda Department. Now I’m writing here to apply for this opportunity.

I am Li Hua, a boy of 18. Though young, I would spare some time to help my friend with the maintaining of his WeChat account, Flowers Blossoming, one of the accounts with more than 100,000 followers within 10 months. In addition to that, at school, I have presently been an active participant of Care & Love Club, a small organization trying to aid those in need when necessary. The voluntary work has, instead of occupying my time, helped me build confidence and good communication skills.

 If given a chance to be one of the members, I would closely follow up and update the news about the activities in Propaganda Department. Lunch might not be a big deal for the students in cities; but for those who are lack in basic living conditions, free lunch matters more! By helping those kids, I feel I can make a big difference to their future.
