难关1-3，语法填空（节选）

难关9：翻译

“只有......才......”固定翻译为only...can...。另外，此句重点考查Only+介词短语置于句首，后边紧跟的句子要用部分倒装的形式。Only后边用什么介词，可以考虑用by doing，表示通过某种方式、方法。三个并列词组“发展好、运用好、治理好”可以共享一个副词well。最后一个词组“更好造福人类”，可以翻译为better benefit mankind。

 

难关10：大作文

In the recent semesters, our compositions have been assessed in different ways. In this process, my writing skills in developing the contents coherently and effectively and enriching my opinions with advanced words and expressions have improved.Among the methods that you use to correct our compositions, in my opinion, the most effective one is the teacher-student correction. First and foremost, I am able to understand the point where I misuse any words or expressions in that your red marks mark my mistakes on my white notebook — quite alarming and striking.
