Dear mom and dad,
I’ve received your letter asking me whether I have landed a job. I know you worry a lot about my job, but I’ve decided to start my own business after graduation.
It’s true that setting up my own business has its own risks, but I believe the risk is worth the rewards. First of all, I, by starting a new company, are creating jobs rather than wading into the job market and competing for the limited jobs there. Besides, it’s gratifying to create something from scratch. I’ll never get bored since everyday there will be something new and challenging.
As you know, I’ve take business –related courses in college to learn how to start and run a business. And one year spent as an intern in IT industry help me come up with something that perfectly fits into the local market. As to money, there are industry banks that are willing to back sound business plans. I’m fully prepared for a start-up. So please give me your blessing. One day, my company may grow from a start-up to a multimillion-dollar corporation.
Take care and your health is the biggest support to my career.
